All moms could use a well deserved break every once in a while. The old adage “mommin’ ain’t easy” is all too true especially after a spring quarantined at home with the kids which led directly into summer. This is why you deserve time to recharge yourself and what better way to do so than by spending time with friends. So grab your girlfriends and check out this list of ideas around Fishers!

Cheers!
Though a kid-free dinner and drinks might seem ordinary, after nearly four months of time at home with the kids, this is the perfect way to unwind and catch up with good friends. 1933 Lounge, Sun King, and LouVino each offer a menu perfect for a ladies night out and cool atmosphere guaranteed to satisfy your tastebuds.

Farmer’s Farmers’ Market and Brunch
A fun twist on the ladies night out is a morning out! The Fishers Farmers’ Market and brunch at Another Broken Egg Cafe is a favorite of mine for this twist. With the combination of shopping, delicious locally produced food, and music; what’s not to like! At the Farmer’s Market, I love strolling through the booths discovering all the local goodies. Another Farmers Market Mom’s Morning favorite is eating breakfast from one of the many local vendors featured at the market.

Pamper Yourself!
What better way to relax and recharge your mom batteries than with a spa day. Whether you’re in the mood for a mani-pedi, massage, detox wrap, or botox, there are a plethora of local options sure to meet everyone’s relaxation goals. My favorite part of this type of mom night out is it soothes not only your mind and body, but also your spirit. My local favorite is Woodhouse Day Spa.

Mom’s Night In
If going out isn’t what you’re looking for, try an evening at home with friends. Whether it’s indoors or socially distancing sitting outside this is a great way to relax while bringing the fun to you! One of my favorite mom’s nights in themes is a “wine down night.” With a delicious charcuterie board from Board & You paired with friends’ favorite wine choices, it’s the makings of a perfect night.

Get Crafty!
Another fun at home night is hosting a crafting night in. Invite your girlfriends to get together for an evening of creativity, snacks, and socializing. Emily’s Backyard Blooms is a favorite among my friends for this type of night. They offer a wide-range of garden-related classes throughout the growing season. From DIY flower arrangements to succulent centerpieces, each class will make the perfect girls night.

Game Play
Topgolf is a fun way to add a twist and a bit of competition to your ladies night. At Topgolf, you’ll play their unique microchipped golf-like game in a climate-controlled bay. With a full restaurant and bar onsite, they have great dining and drink options. Advanced reservations are recommended. Or, try beating the clock as a team at the Escape Room! The Escape Room provides six different themed rooms with the clues, puzzles, and keys all needed to escape. After your “escape”, enjoy adult beverages in The Lounge. Advanced reservations are recommended.
