Hello Fishers! I’m Sarah Sandquist, Director of Fishers Parks. Fishers has 24 parks spread throughout the City, ranging in size and function from pocket parks like Cheeney Creek Nature Area to larger parks like Holland Park and Brooks School Park. Each park has its own character and there is something for everyone!

From trails to playgrounds and baseball diamonds, Billericay Park is bustling with activity throughout the year. Located at 126th Street and Promise Road tucked just south of Fishers High School, Billericay Park totals 44 acres of diverse recreation area and truly has something for everyone.

Here are 5 reasons you should visit Billericay Park:

1. The playgrounds- In addition to the playground that is adjacent to the splash pad, there are also two playground structures next to the baseball diamonds. Enjoy America’s past time while your little ones play on the playground close by!

2. The splash pad- One of two splash pads in Fishers, this one is open Memorial Day through Labor Day and is great to cool off on a hot day.

3. The phone booth- While visiting, be sure to check out the English phonebooth at the front of the park building that pays homage to Fishers’ sister city, Billericay, England.

4. Walking trail- Walk or run through 1.75 miles of nature and multi-use trails through the parks woodland area.

5. The community building- With a capacity of just over 100 people, the building is the perfect place to host your next birthday party, baby shower, or get-together. Rentals are available year-round and can be booked online. The building is also home to Mudsock Youth Athletics, a not-for-profit dedicated to providing youth sports in the Hamilton Southeastern community.

While there are of course many more than 5 reasons to visit any of our parks, I hope this list inspires you to visit Billericay Park soon!
