Olympics Celebration
The City of Fishers is excited to celebrate the 2020 Tokyo Olympics! Two current Fishers residents will be competing in the Olympics: Tyler Downs will be competing for Team USA as a diver and Alec Yoder as a gymnast. Later in August, Fishers’ own Noah Malone will be competing as a runner in the 2020 Paralympics.

Alec Yoder: Gymnastics
- Trained at Deveau’s in Fishers
- NCAA All American at Ohio State
- Selected to compete as an individual in Tokyo Games
Tyler Downs: Diving
- Originally from Missouri, now lives in Fishers
- Will attend Purdue to dive in the fall
- Competing in 3m Springboard events
Noah Malone: Paralympic Track
- HSE Graduate
- Competes at Indiana State University
- Will compete in 100m dash events at Paralympics in August

Meet Your Neighbor: Noah Malone
Meet Noah Malone, recent high school grad, Fishers resident, track and field star, and member of Team USA for the 2021 Summer Paralympics. With a 100-meter dash (¼ of a lap around the track) of 10.74 seconds and a 400-meter dash (1 lap around the track) of 49.38 seconds, Noah earned his spot on the team and will be traveling to Tokyo to compete for gold.
