Megan Gamble was raised in Fishers and has lived here for over 20 years. She lives in the Geist area with her husband, Zane, and two active boys, Miles (4) and Nolan (1). A former teacher and child developmental therapist, she loves finding new adventures with her family in Fishers Parks, as well as attending the city’s family-friendly (and date night perfect) events throughout the year. Amanda Merriweather has lived in Fishers for eight years with her family of six on the northwest side of the city. She is a stay-at-home mom and freelance writer who enjoys reading, blogging, crafting (her new favorite hobby is woodworking), as well as spending time with her family finding new trails, exploring new places, watching movies, and playing board games. You can find her at The Yard at Fishers District, local coffee shops and boutiques, and the Fishers library and parks with her kids. Her favorite aspect of Fishers is how family-oriented the city is, and how many family-friendly activities there are to enjoy throughout the year. Abby lives just north of Fishers but is a frequent face at Fishers events like Movies in the Park, the Farmers Market, and Glow in the Park. She is a former professional figure skater who works full time for Customs & Border Protection. Having grown up driving down here on weekends for skating events, she has seen Fishers transform over the years. It feels like Fishers is always working on something new and she loves being a part of it! In her spare time, you’ll find her blogging about “good things” at her site Little Miss Martha, writing for Towne Post, and exploring with her girls! She lives in Noblesville with her husband Mike and two daughters Ella & Olive. Follow her on Instagram at @lmmblog and on her blog at hellomissmartha.com.
Kelly Yale is a long-time resident of Fishers (she’s lived here since she was 12!) who lives on the east side of the city. She loves hiking in parks, cooking and trying new restaurants, visiting the Fishers Farmers’ Market, and spending time with her family. Wife and daughter of small business owners, she’s passionate about local businesses and loves exploring shops around the City. She is vegetarian and tries to avoid plastic and waste as much as possible, along with buying secondhand instead of new. Her favorite thing about Fishers is experiencing all of new things that it has to offer since she was a child, while still being able to reminisce on her childhood memories here. She has a 9 year old daughter and is expecting a baby boy in December. Follow her on Facebook and Instagram at @CrunchyKelly.
